Little Cove is one of those hidden gems in Port Douglas that feels naturally intimate while still offering incredible coastal scenery. With rocky headlands, ocean views and tropical greenery it creates the most beautiful setting for couples wanting a wedding that feels relaxed, meaningful, and effortlessly beautiful.
From the beginning, this wedding had such a fun and easygoing atmosphere. Nothing felt rushed or overly formal. The entire day focused on genuine moments, laughter, and creating memories together, which always photographs so naturally and beautifully.
One of my favourite parts of this wedding was the colour woven throughout the day. The vibrant florals and joyful energy brought so much personality to the celebration while still feeling timeless and elegant. Every detail reflected the couple so perfectly, relaxed, warm, and completely present with each other and their guests.
After the ceremony, we wandered around Little Cove and the Sugar Wharf for portraits, making the most of the rocky coastline, ocean backdrop, and golden tropical light that Port Douglas is known for. This area photographs beautifully, offering a mix of coastal textures and lush surroundings that make wedding galleries feel both editorial and natural at the same time.
The celebrations continued into a relaxed reception full of heartfelt speeches, laughter, dancing, and the kind of atmosphere that reminds you weddings are truly about connection and celebration rather than perfection.
