Everyone is different when it comes to maternity photos. Some people want their photos to empower them, some people want a beautiful location and others want something nice and relaxed that showcases their bump and captures family life in this moment.
This maternity photoshoot was just that. Letting the kids just be themselves and hanging out with their mum and their family dog.
We got some gorgeous shots of Mum by herself and she had a couple of styles she wanted to try out (jeans and a bra and a black dress she loved).
We also got some lovely natural photos of just being at home as a family. Making a bottle of milk for her youngest girl and scooting around the house.
The best way to get natural smiles from your children in professional photos is to try and embrace the chaos. The more you resist it, the harder it feels.
Being the Mum of three little ones can feel chaotic, but I hope I showcased how it looks in a loving way.
