Today I’m going to share how to care for your professional prints.
Professional prints, if cared for correctly, can last many many years.
While they are there to be enjoyed, here are the ways to care for your professional prints.
- Always handle prints on the outer edge
- Store your professional prints out of direct sunlight in a humidity controlled environment – Exposure to direct sunlight can cause your print to fade over time
- Wear white fabric gloves that are made for the handling of professional prints or wash and dry your hands thoroughly to prevent the natural oils from your skin damaging the prints.
- Clean with a soft, dry, lint free cloth. Never use solvents or water
- Keep your prints indoors
- When framing your professional prints, mount them under UV protected glass between acid free mats.
