What is a love letter VoiceOver video slideshow?

Have you ever kept a diary, and read over it years later? While it may be really cringey the things you read in that diary, they take you back to certain times in your life. What about letters from your Grandma that she sent you while you were little, or maybe even letters your Mum wrote to you? If you’re anything like me, you have them ALL stashed away in a keepsake box somewhere, and get them out every once in a while. I think written memories like this hold value to both the person who wrote them, and the person who received them. As you were growing up, I imagine your Mum re-read her letters when she had a hard day, to remember all of the special moments you shared together. Just like you read them over and over when you miss her, or want to reassure yourself that all Mums go through tough times, and that your own Mum was no different. But what if we could turn those letters into sound? Whenever we lose loved ones, over time, we start to forget the sound of their voice. We keep old voicemails from them for comfort, or search out family videos. We look for anything that offers the sound that makes us feel safe and warm. Not long ago, I decided to try out something new. Offering a love letter VoiceOver video slideshow. It’s a bit of a mouthful to say, but hopefully holds a lot of meaning to it. I put together a video slideshow of a selection of images from your session, and you record a love letter to your child or children, that’s about a minute long, just by using the audio recorder on your phone. I add some beautiful music, and you have your audio love letter! I hope it will be just a little something extra special to someday pass on to your children, so they know how much they were loved. Even if some days were really really hard. Below is Danni’s love letter to her little man Jett. You’ll want to have the sound on for it, it’s so lovely 🙂
