I don’t know about you, but I love seeing photos of new babies! It doesn’t matter whether they were captured by a professional baby photographer or by the family on their phone, they turn me to mush!
We are so lucky these days that with a click of a button, it’s so easy to share photos of our brand new babies with family and friends all over the world. I think that’s made us even more lucky in recent times, when even if our family were in the same country, or in some cases, the same state, we haven’t been able to see them and share the joy of a new baby together.
Thankfully, in Cairns, we didn’t suffer too long with the lockdown, but I know lots of the family’s who booked me had family in other states who weren’t allowed to travel here.
That wasn’t the case for Danielle though and recently she came in with her own Mum, and little baby Harvey to be photographed.
Knowing how much I miss my own Mum, on the other side of the world in the UK, and feel sad that she misses out on so much with my own children, I always like to get grandparents in the photos as much as possible. Sometimes they come dressed and prepared, and other times I have to offer some gentle persuasion 😉
Here are some of my favourite photos Danielles newborn shoot 🙂
